Misamis University in 2017 SPC
Being in the service of quality education for more than 8 decades, Misamis University partakes in what the Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary Leonor Briones describes as the, ‘critical event of honing the skills and values of future journalists, opinion shapers, information gatekeepers, and creative writers’, referring to the annually conducted national schools press conference.
In this year’s schools press conference, Misamis University takes pride in the achievement of her students who made it to the national level during the NATIONAL SCHOOLS PRESS CONFERENCE held on January 23, 2017 at Pagadian City. Misamis University warmly congratulates:
1. Melyn Pines

More than 5,000 campus journalists from 18 regions in the country have made it to the final NATIONAL LEVEL competition of the schools press conference.
