Congratulations to Misamis University for excelling in the 40th National Civil Engineering Students Quiz Regional Elimination held on August 23, 2025, at the DPWH Regional Office 10, Cagayan de Oro City!
The competition gathered 32 students from 11 schools across Region X, including Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT), University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP), and Central Mindanao University (CMU).
Representing MU with pride, Harlie Bagadiong secured 4th place, while Jaycar and Nash earned spots in the Top 15. These victories contributed to MU’s strong overall performance, where it ranked 3rd in the region, tied with MSU-IIT.
The Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers also recognized Misamis University as a valued partner, encouraging its continued participation in future events.
This milestone is a testament to the commitment and skill of our students, faculty, and staff from the College of Engineering and Technology. MU continues to uphold its legacy of academic excellence and competitive spirit, strengthening its place among the leading institutions in the region.
