Misamis University Held Seminar on Student Mobility
Misamis University held a Seminar on Student Mobility on January 16, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the H.T.F. Activity Center, Misamis University, Ozamiz City. The seminar aimed to provide a venue for students who participated in short-term classes at partner higher education institutions (HEIs) abroad to share the opportunities they availed of and the insights and impressions they gained from their international academic experiences.
The seminar also featured local student mobility, highlighting students who joined symposium/academic activities at other universities in the Philippines. Through these shared experiences, the activity aimed to inspire more students to actively participate in the student mobility programs initiated by Misamis University.

The event was also attended by Mr. Rodel Baldado, Officer-in-Charge of Student Affairs, and Mr. Gerald Aguilar, part-time instructor from the College of Agriculture.

They discussed the program overview, its multicultural participation involving Chinese and Indonesian students, the learning outcomes, and the value of international academic and cultural interactions.
Mr. Quiao, who participated in the FPT Winter Camp in Da Nang, Vietnam, from November 16 to 23, 2025, emphasized the opportunities offered by the University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (UMAP) and explained its application process. He also highlighted FPT University in Da Nang, the host institution of the mobility program, which is a UMAP member.
Mr. Estrada, who joined a symposium at the University of the Philippines–Diliman on November 27–28, 2025, shared the knowledge he gained from Filipino scholars who presented their academic experiences in Germany as German scholars.
After the presentations, participants actively engaged in a question-and-answer session, raising inquiries about expenses, qualifications, field-specific mobility programs, and application procedures.
