Misamis University Programs Achieve Level IV and Level III Accreditation
Misamis University continues to uphold its tradition of academic excellence, as several of its programs have earned high accreditation distinctions from the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA).
Four programs have been granted Level IV Accredited Status, the highest recognition conferred by PACUCOA:
- Liberal Arts Programs (Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science)
- Business Administration Program
- Bachelor of Secondary Education Program
- Bachelor of Elementary Education Program
Level IV accreditation affirms that these programs have demonstrated sustained excellence across major quality assurance domains, outcomes in teaching and learning, research productivity, extension services, Linkage and Consortia, faculty qualifications, learning resources, student support mechanisms, and overall institutional performance. This recognition signifies full compliance with national accreditation standards, outcome-based education, and continuous quality improvement.
Meanwhile, the Electrical Engineering Program has been granted Level III Reaccredited Status, reaffirming its continued compliance with rigorous quality standards and commitment to excellence in engineering education.
These achievements highlight the effectiveness of strategic planning, program delivery systems, organizational structures, and stakeholder engagement initiatives implemented by the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business and Management, College of Education, and College of Engineering and Technology.
The University Administration formally commends the academic departments, support offices, faculty members, administrative personnel, students, alumni, and partner stakeholders whose sustained collaboration, technical expertise, and institutional commitment significantly contributed to these successful accreditation outcomes.
