Misamis University Receives PACUCOA Recognition for First Level III Reaccredited Information Technology Program in Region X
Misamis University continues to uphold its reputation as one of the premier institutions in Northern Mindanao, with its latest recognition from the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA), Inc.
On December 5, 2025, during the PACUCOA 36th Annual General Assembly held at Novotel Manila Araneta City, Quezon City, PACUCOA formally conferred the award to Misamis University for having the first Information Technology program in Region X to achieve Level III Reaccredited Status. The award was received by University President Dr. Karen Belina F. De Leon, highlighting the university’s steadfast commitment to academic excellence, continuous quality improvement, and outcomes-based education.
This recognition reflects Misamis University’s sustained efforts to enhance its Information Technology program through rigorous quality assurance, compliance with national and international academic standards, and the integration of innovative, industry-aligned teaching practices. Attaining PACUCOA Level III Reaccredited Status affirms the program’s excellence in critical areas, including curriculum relevance, faculty qualifications, research productivity, student support services, administrative effectiveness, and active collaboration with local and global industry partners.
